Abstract[English] Identifying the exact spatial relationship between a gripper and a microplate is accomplished through use of electrical signals corresponding to contact between the gripper and the microplate. An applied voltage on the gripper is maintained until such time as the gripper contacts the microplate, which is kept at a different voltage such as ground. When the gripper contacts the microplate, the gripper's voltage changes in a way that can be read by a controller. By bumping the microplate along multiple axes, or in several expected positions of microplate features, the voltage change can be read to determine the exact relative position between the microplate and the gripper.[French] L'identification de la relation spatiale exacte entre une pince et une plaque de microtitrage est accomplie par l'utilisation de signaux électriques correspondant à un contact entre la pince et la plaque de microtitrage.
