Abstract[English]
A battery module includes two or more independently replaceable cell banks coupled together in series, in parallel, or both. Each cell bank includes multiple battery cells (e.g., pouch cells, prismatic cells, etc.) mechanically held together using end caps. The battery cells of each cell bank are electrically coupled together in series, parallel, or both at terminals. The terminals are electrically connected together either via adapters or through direct mating.[French]
Un module de batterie comprend au moins deux bancs de cellules remplaçables indépendamment couplés ensemble en série, en parallèle, ou les deux. Chaque banc de cellules comprend de multiples cellules de batterie (par exemple, des cellules en sachet souple, des cellules prismatiques, etc.) maintenues mécaniquement ensemble à l'aide de capuchons d'extrémité.
