Abstract[English]
A thermoplastic composition includes: from about 60 wt% to about 99.5 wt% of at least one thermoplastic polymer including polycarbonate (PC), polycarbonate-siloxane copolymer, polyester (PE), polyetherimide (PEI), polyphenylsufone (PPSU), polyethersulfone (PES), polysulfone (PSU), polyarylate (PAR), copolymers thereof, or combinations thereof; and from about 0.5 wt% to about 5 wt% of a laser direct structuring (LDS) additive comprising blue indium tin oxide (BITO). The thermoplastic composition has a visible transmittance of at least 50% and a haze of 30% or lower as tested in accordance with ASTM D1003-00 at a thickness of 1 millimeter. The combined weight percent value of all components does not exceed 100 wt%, and all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the composition.[French]
