Abstract[English] An evaporator pan system includes an evaporator pan, a heating element positioned at least partially within the evaporator pan, a thermistor positioned at least partially within the evaporator pan, and a controller coupled to the heating element and the thermistor. The controller detects a first current passing through the thermistor. The controller further determines the first current meets a threshold current, indicating a presence of a threshold volume of liquid within the evaporator pan. The controller further activates the heating element to cause evaporation of at least a portion of the liquid within the evaporator pan.[French] L'invention concerne un système de bac d'évaporateur qui comprend un bac d'évaporateur, un élément chauffant positionné au moins partiellement au sein du bac d'évaporateur, une thermistance positionnée au moins partiellement au sein du bac d'évaporateur, et un dispositif de commande couplé à l'élément chauffant et à la thermistance. Le dispositif de commande détecte un premier courant traversant la thermistance. Le dispositif de commande détermine en outre que le premier courant satisfait un courant seuil, indiquant une présence d'un volume seuil de liquide au sein du bac d'évaporateur.
