Abstract[English] Presented herein are techniques for using an implantable medical system to monitor body tissue and/or body fluid of a recipient via an electrochemical measurement, such as cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), etc. In accordance with embodiments presented herein, a reference electrode having a stable electrical potential is provided for use in performing the electrochemical measurement.[French] L'invention concerne des techniques d'utilisation d'un système médical implantable permettant de surveiller un tissu corporel et/ou un fluide corporel d'un receveur par l'intermédiaire d'une mesure électrochimique, telle qu'une voltampérométrie cyclique (CV), une spectroscopie d'impédance électrochimique (EIS), etc. Selon des modes de réalisation présentés ici, une électrode de référence présentant un potentiel électrique stable est utilisée pour effectuer la mesure électrochimique.
