Abstract[English]
A method for extracting valuable resources from rubber, particularly tyre-derived rubber, is disclosed. The present method utilizes a continuous, or a series of, microwave chamber(s), whereby various temperature ranges are applied to distil off vapours of different hydrocarbons according to their selected decomposing signatures from the rubber. These vapours are cooled and condensed according to their desired type of hydrocarbons. The residue of carbon collected as a solid is a continuous process and the carbon can be activated into biochar. The microwave chamber(s) equipment operates under negative pressure to provide safety and prevent exhaust pollution to the atmosphere. Obtained materials from the process can be utilized to generate the energy to power the tyre recycling process.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé d'extraction de ressources de valeur à partir de caoutchouc, en particulier de caoutchouc dérivé de pneus. Le présent procédé utilise une ou plusieurs chambres à micro-ondes continues, ce par quoi diverses plages de température sont appliquées pour distiller des vapeurs de différents hydrocarbures en fonction de leurs signatures de décomposition sélectionnées à partir du caoutchouc. Ces vapeurs sont refroidies et condensées selon leur type d'hydrocarbures souhaité. Le résidu de carbone collecté en tant que solide est un procédé continu et le carbone peut être activé en biocharbon. L'équipement de chambres à micro-ondes fonctionne sous pression négative pour assurer la sécurité et empêcher la pollution de l'échappement dans l'atmosphère. Des matériaux obtenus à partir du procédé peuvent être utilisés pour produire de l'énergie pour alimenter le procédé de recyclage de pneus.
