Abstract[English]
The present disclosure generally relates to devices for ophthalmic procedures, and more particularly, to apparatus for performing subretinal injections and methods of use thereof. In some embodiments, a surgical instrument for fluid injection may include a handpiece configured for grasping by a user, the handpiece comprising: a first lumen disposed therein, the first lumen configured to receive a fluid cartridge comprising one or more injection fluids and a fluidic drive system disposed within the first lumen, the fluidic drive system for driving a flow of the one or more injection fluids from the fluid cartridge into a cannula. The cannula may be coupled to the handpiece and be configured to be introduced into an eye. The cannula may include a second lumen extending therethrough for receiving the one or more injection fluids flowed from the fluid cartridge and a needle movably disposed within the second lumen, the needle configured to extend from and retract into the second lumen at a distal end of the cannula.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne de manière générale des dispositifs pour des procédures ophtalmiques, et plus particulièrement, un appareil pour effectuer des injections sous-rétiniennes et des procédés d'utilisation de ceux-ci. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un instrument chirurgical pour injection de fluide peut comprendre une pièce à main configurée pour être saisie par un utilisateur, la pièce à main comprenant : une première lumière disposée à l'intérieur de celle-ci, la première lumière étant configurée pour recevoir une cartouche de fluide comprenant un ou plusieurs fluides d'injection et un système d'entraînement fluidique disposé à l'intérieur de la première lumière, le système d'entraînement fluidique pour entraîner un écoulement du ou des fluides d'injection de la cartouche de fluide dans une canule. La canule peut être couplée à la pièce à main et être configurée pour être introduite dans un œil. La canule peut comprendre une seconde lumière s'étendant à travers celle-ci pour recevoir le ou les fluides d'injection s'écoulant à partir de la cartouche de fluide et une aiguille disposée de façon mobile à l'intérieur de la seconde lumière, l'aiguille étant configurée pour s'étendre à partir de la seconde lumière et se rétracter dans la seconde lumière au niveau d'une extrémité distale de la canule.
