Abstract[English]
The present disclosure generally relates to devices for ophthalmic procedures, and more particularly, to a surgical instrument for performing subr etinal injections and methods of use thereof. The surgical instrument may include a handpiece configured for grasping by a user for fluid injection. The handpiece may include a first lumen disposed therein and an actuatable toggle movably coupled with the handle. The surgical instrument may further include a cannula coupled to the handpiece and configured to be introduced into an eye. The cannula may include a second lumen extending therethrough and a needle movably disposed within the second lumen. The needle may be coupled with the actuatable toggle and configured to extend from and retract into the second lumen at a distal end of the cannula upon actuation of the toggle.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne de manière générale des dispositifs pour des procédures ophtalmiques, et plus particulièrement, un instrument chirurgical pour effectuer des injections sous-rétiniennes et des procédés d'utilisation de ceux-ci. L'instrument chirurgical peut comprendre une pièce à main configurée pour être saisie par un utilisateur pour une injection de fluide. La pièce à main peut comprendre une première lumière disposée à l'intérieur de celle-ci et une bascule actionnable couplée de façon mobile à la poignée. L'instrument chirurgical peut en outre comprendre une canule couplée à la pièce à main et configurée pour être introduite dans un œil. La canule peut comprendre une seconde lumière s'étendant à travers celle-ci et une aiguille disposée de façon mobile à l'intérieur de la seconde lumière.
