Abstract[English]
A system includes an imager and a processor. The imager has a field of view and being configured to operate in a normal state controlled by a first set of operating parameters for capturing a first sequence of images and in a high-speed state controlled by a second set of operating parameters for capturing a second sequence of images. The processor is configured estimate a travel path for an object based on data extracted from the first sequence of the images or the second sequence of the images; and control the imager in the high-speed state to crop the images in the second sequence of the images containing a region of interest including the object. The processor controls the imager so the second sequence of the images contains the region of interest within the field of view and follows the estimated travel path for the object.[French]
L'invention concerne un système qui comprend un imageur et un processeur. L'imageur a un champ de vision et est configuré pour fonctionner dans un état normal commandé par un premier ensemble de paramètres de fonctionnement pour capturer une première séquence d'images et dans un état à grande vitesse commandé par un second ensemble de paramètres de fonctionnement pour capturer une seconde séquence d'images. Le processeur est configuré pour estimer un trajet de déplacement pour un objet sur la base de données extraites de la première séquence des images ou de la seconde séquence des images; et commander l'imageur dans l'état à grande vitesse pour rogner les images dans la seconde séquence des images contenant une zone d'intérêt comprenant l'objet. Le processeur commande l'imageur de telle sorte que la seconde séquence des images contient la zone d'intérêt dans le champ de vision et suit le trajet de déplacement estimé pour l'objet.
