Abstract[English]
A system and an imager configured with operating parameters for capturing a sequence of images and a processor. The processor is configured to detect a ball in a first sequence of images captured by the imager configured with current operating parameters; analyze one or more conditions relating to motion of the ball or motion of a ball striking implement based on location information for the ball or the ball striking implement determined from the first sequence of the images; when the one or more conditions are satisfied, trigger a change in an operational state of the imager; and detect the ball in a second sequence of images captured by the imager configured with adjusted operating parameters.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un imageur configurés avec des paramètres de fonctionnement pour capturer une séquence d'images et un processeur. Le processeur est configuré pour détecter une balle dans une première séquence d'images capturées par l'imageur configuré avec des paramètres de fonctionnement actuels ; analyser une ou plusieurs conditions en relation avec le mouvement de la balle ou avec le mouvement d'un instrument de frappe de balle sur la base d'informations d'emplacement de la balle ou de l'instrument de frappe de balle déterminées à partir de la première séquence des images ; lorsque la ou les conditions sont satisfaites, déclencher un changement dans un état opérationnel de l'imageur ; et détecter la balle dans une seconde séquence d'images capturées par l'imageur configuré avec des paramètres de fonctionnement ajustés.
