Solid pharmaceutical compositions of elacestrant dihydrochloride with high hardness values increase the dissolution time for elacestrant. Methods of making solid pharmaceutical elacestrant dihydrochloride compositions are disclosed, in which a mixture comprising elacestrant dihydrochloride and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients is compressed at a pressure of at least 1 kN to produce a tablet with high hardness and a favorable dissolution profile. Methods of treatment for breast cancer include administering the solid pharmaceutical composition to a human subject.[French]
