An example method may include receiving, by a reader in an ambient Internet of Things (AIoT) wireless system that includes an AIoT device, the reader and an activator, a configuration that includes time-frequency resources to read a reply signal transmitted by the AIoT device in response to an activation signal transmitted by the activator, and triggering conditions to cause the reader to transmit a reconfiguration trigger signal to a session control unit; evaluating, by the reader, the triggering conditions to determine that at least one of the triggering conditions has been met or fulfilled; and transmitting, by the reader to the session control unit, the reconfiguration trigger signal to cause a reconfiguration of an AIoT activation and reading session, wherein the reconfiguration trigger signal includes a trigger cause based on the at least one of the triggering conditions that has been met or fulfilled.[French]
