Embodiments include technologies for generation and use of a data structure (such as a directed acyclic graph) in operational planning of configured products. In some embodiments, the configured products include configured farming or agricultural products. In some embodiments, the technologies include generation and use of the data structure for long-term sales option-based planning of configured products (e.g., configured farming machines). The long-term sales option- based planning can include sales option-based planning and the configured products can include complex models of products. In some embodiments, the technologies include a method that includes generating the data structure based on a ruleset for variants of a configured product, wherein the data structure includes valid variants of the product. The traversals of the data structure (such as when the structure is a directed acyclic graph) can represent the valid combinations according to the given ruleset (such as all valid combinations).[French]
