Abstract[English]
A feeding system includes a plurality of drop feeders connected to a feed tube. Each drop feeder includes a feed valve having a drop ball and a valve seat. In a lowered condition an outer surface of the drop ball contacts the valve seat to seal a bottom feed outlet hole. An actuating lead raises the drop ball away from the valve seat into a raised condition to allow feed through the feed valve. The valve seat is shaped with a spherical segment ring above an outlet ring, the outlet ring having a cross-section that is smaller than a diameter of the drop ball. The spherical segment ring has an arcuate shape that is concentric with that of a portion of the outer surface of the drop ball that mates with the spherical segment ring when the drop ball is in its lowered condition and resting against the valve seat.[French]
Un système d'alimentation comprend une pluralité de dispositifs d’alimentation à trémie reliés à un tube d'alimentation. Chaque dispositif d'alimentation à trémie comprend une vanne d'alimentation ayant une boule d’abattage et un siège de vanne. Dans un état abaissé, une surface externe de la boule d’abattage entre en contact avec le siège de vanne pour obturer de manière étanche un trou de sortie d'alimentation inférieur. Un fil d'actionnement soulève la boule d’abattage à l'opposé du siège de vanne dans un état surélevé pour permettre à l'aliment de passer à travers la vanne d'alimentation. L'anneau de segment sphérique a une forme arquée qui est concentrique avec celle d'une partie de la surface externe de la boule d’abattage qui s'accouple avec l'anneau de segment sphérique lorsque la boule d’abattage est dans son état abaissé et repose contre le siège de vanne.
