Abstract[English]
A stator of a locking differential includes an inner lip recessed into the central opening. The inner lip engages with a bearing race to secure the stator to a gear housing of the locking differential. The stator holds an electromagnetic coil. The stator is shaped to avoid electromagnetic flux pinch points that could limit the amount of electromagnetic force applied to a locking arrangement of the locking differential.[French]
Un stator d'un différentiel de verrouillage comprend une lèvre interne évidée dans l'ouverture centrale. La lèvre interne vient en prise avec une bague de roulement pour fixer le stator à un carter d'engrenage du différentiel de verrouillage. Le stator maintient une bobine électromagnétique. Le stator est conçu pour éviter des points de pincement de flux électromagnétique qui pourraient limiter la quantité de force électromagnétique appliquée à un agencement de verrouillage du différentiel de verrouillage.
