Abstract[English]
A method and system for contactless payment on a distributed ledger using near field communications (NFC). A point of sale device is placed in the NFC host card emulation (HCE) mode. A customer device uses its NFC system to read transaction details from the POS device. The customer device generates a digitally signed transaction message and sends it to the distributed ledger to initiate a transfer of cryptocurrency funds from the customer's account the merchant's account. The merchant system monitors the distributed ledger to determine when the transaction is complete. The merchant device can start in the NFC read state and switch to NFC HCE mode in response to data read from the customer device.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de paiement sans contact sur un registre distribué à l'aide de communications en champ proche (NFC). Un dispositif de point de vente (POS) est placé dans le mode d'émulation de carte hôte NFC (HCE). Un dispositif client utilise son système NFC pour lire des détails de transaction à partir du dispositif POS. Le dispositif client génère un message de transaction signé numériquement et l'envoie au registre distribué pour initier un transfert de fonds de cryptomonnaie à partir du compte du client vers le compte du commerçant. Le système de commerçant surveille le registre distribué pour déterminer le moment où la transaction est terminée. Le dispositif de commerçant peut démarrer dans l'état de lecture NFC et commuter vers un mode NFC HCE en réponse à des données lues à partir du dispositif client.
