Abstract[English]
Presented herein are techniques for implant-induced artefact visualization using pre-operative MRI imaging data. Operations include obtaining pre-operative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data, and obtaining a three-dimensional (3D) artefact model for an implant of a recipient based on an implant type. The operations further include overlaying the 3D artefact model of the implant on the pre-operative MRI data based on a given implant location, and displaying the pre-operative MRI data with the 3D artefact model of the implant overlaid thereon so as to visualize an implant-induced image artefact for the recipient according to the given implant location.[French]
L'invention concerne des techniques de visualisation d'artefact induit par implant
à l'aide de données d'imagerie IRM préopératoires. Des opérations consistent à obtenir des données d'imagerie par résonance magnétique (IRM) préopératoires, et à obtenir un modèle d'artefact tridimensionnel (3D) pour un implant d'un receveur sur la base d'un type d'implant. Les opérations consistent en outre à superposer le modèle d'artefact 3D de l'implant sur les données d'IRM préopératoires sur la base d'un emplacement d'implant donné, et à afficher les données d'IRM préopératoires avec le modèle d'artefact 3D de l'implant superposé sur celui-ci de façon à visualiser un artefact d'image induit par implant pour le receveur selon l'emplacement d'implant donné.
