Abstract[English]
A method of determining a location, in a three-dimensional laser scanning coordinate system for a laser scanning system, of a target, the method comprising: engendering motion, relative to the laser scanning system, of an alignment target having a known geometry; determining a three-dimensional path of motion of the alignment target in the three-dimensional laser scanning coordinate system; capturing, with a camera system having a field of view in a two-dimensional vision coordinate system that is stationary with respect to the laser scanning system, an image sequence for tracking fiducials on a calibration surface of the alignment target responsive to the engendered motion; determining two-dimensional paths of motion of the fiducials tracked within the field of view of the image sequence; and mapping two-dimensional fiducial positions from the two-dimensional paths of motion to the three-dimensional path of motion.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de détermination d'un emplacement d'une cible, dans un système de coordonnées de balayage laser tridimensionnel pour un système de balayage laser, le procédé consistant à : engendrer un mouvement, par rapport au système de balayage laser, d'une cible d'alignement à géométrie connue ; déterminer un trajet tridimensionnel de mouvement de la cible d'alignement dans le système de coordonnées de balayage laser tridimensionnel ; capturer, avec un système de caméra ayant un champ de vision dans un système de coordonnées de vision bidimensionnel qui est fixe par rapport au système de balayage laser, une séquence d'images pour suivre des repères sur une surface de calibrage de la cible d'alignement en réponse au mouvement engendré ; déterminer des trajets bidimensionnels de mouvement des repères suivis dans le champ de vision de la séquence d'images ; et cartographier des positions de repères bidimensionnelles à partir des trajets bidimensionnels de mouvement vers le trajet tridimensionnel de mouvement.
