Abstract[English]
The invention is directed to a cast molding method for making embedded hydrogel contact lenses. The method comprises a step of actinically curing a lens-forming composition in specific locations in molding assemblies each of which is formed from one male lens mold half and one female insert mold half having a molded insert adhered thereon and comprises the lens-forming composition filling a gap between the back surface of the mold insert and the molding surface of the male lens mold half. This tack curing step ensures molded inserts adhered through multiple spots to the molding surface of each male lens mold halves which in turn will be used together with a female lens mold half in cast- molding of a lens forming composition to form an embedded silicone hydrogel contact lens.[French]
L'invention concerne une méthode de moulage par coulée pour fabriquer des lentilles de contact en hydrogel incorporé. La méthode comprend une étape de durcissement actinique d'une composition de formation de lentille dans des emplacements spécifiques dans des ensembles de moulage dont chacun est formé à partir d'une moitié de moule de lentille mâle et d'une moitié de moule d'insert femelle sur laquelle est collé un insert moulé et comprend la composition de formation de lentille remplissant un espace entre la surface arrière de l'insert de moule et la surface de moulage de la moitié de moule de lentille mâle. Cette étape de durcissement par adhérence garantit que des inserts moulés adhèrent par de multiples points à la surface de moulage de chaque moitié de moule de lentille mâle qui, à son tour, sera utilisée conjointement avec une moitié de moule de lentille femelle dans le moulage par coulée d'une composition de formation de lentille pour former une lentille de contact en silicone hydrogel incorporé.
