Abstract[English]
A thixotropic aqueous mixture for preventing superficial scald and/or scuffing damage on produce, such as fruit or pome fruits, and an application method thereof comprising at least one smectite clay and a water-soluble polymer, wherein the thixotropic aqueous mixture is added with high shear mixing to water then applied to produce, such as fruit or pome fruit, via a dip tank, spray bar, or brush bed or combination thereof.[French]
L'invention concerne un mélange aqueux thixotrope destiné à prévenir les dommages superficiels causés par échaudage et/ou éraflure sur des produits agricoles, tels que des fruits ou des fruits à pépins, et son procédé d'application, contenant au moins une argile smectite et un polymère hydrosoluble. Le mélange aqueux thixotrope est ajouté à l'aide d'un mélange à cisaillement élevé à de l'eau puis appliqué sur le produit agricole, tel que des fruits ou des fruits à pépins, par l'intermédiaire d'un bac de trempage, d'une rampe de pulvérisation ou d'une sole à brosses ou d'une combinaison de ceux-ci.
