Abstract[English] An apparatus, system, process, and method for fabricating fenestrated contact lenses, and contact lenses produced thereby. A first mold with a first protruding boss and a second mold with a second protruding boss are engaged with lens-forming material contained in a mold cavity between the first and second molds. The first and second bosses abut one another in the mold cavity between the first and second molds to form a fenestration through the lens as the lens material is cured. The interface between the first and second bosses may be located at an intermediate position in the mold cavity between the first and second molds, such that any surface irregularities are located within the interior of the lens rather than on an exterior lens surface.[French] Appareil, système, processus et procédé de fabrication de lentilles de contact perforées, et lentilles de contact ainsi produites.
