Abstract[English]
A robotic applicator and a coating system and method for real-time control of the application of one or more coatings onto the surface of a substrate. The coatings can include various primer layers, adhesive agents, tinting/coloring agents, and/or chemical solvent layers onto glass substrates. A single robotic applicator can include a pair of applicators to apply different coating layers onto the substrate surface. The overall system and method includes an initial optical vision system, along with a series of optical vision systems, and a series of robotic applicators, that cooperate with a central processing unit to customize the coating sequence and pattern for the particular substrate material, shape, and/or intended use of the coated substrate.[French]
L'invention se rapporte à un applicateur robotique et à un système de revêtement et à un procédé de commande en temps réel de l'application d'un ou de plusieurs revêtements sur la surface d'un substrat. Les revêtements peuvent comporter diverses couches d'apprêt, des agents adhésifs, des agents de teinture/coloration et/ou des couches de solvant chimique sur des substrats en verre. Un seul applicateur robotique peut comporter une paire d'applicateurs permettant d'appliquer différentes couches de revêtement sur la surface du substrat. Le système et le procédé globaux comportent un système de vision optique initial, conjointement avec une série de systèmes de vision optique, et une série d'applicateurs robotiques, qui coopèrent avec une unité centrale de traitement pour personnaliser la séquence et le motif de revêtement pour le matériau de substrat particulier, la forme et/ou l'utilisation prévue du substrat revêtu.
