Abstract[English]
An apparatus includes a stimulation assembly configured to be implanted on or within a recipient. The stimulation assembly includes an elongate body having a longitudinal axis. The stimulation assembly further includes at least one fin extending in a longitudinal direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis and extending from an outer surface of the body. The stimulation assembly further includes at least one stimulation element facing outwardly from the body. The at least one stimulation element is configured to be in operative communication with a portion of tissue of the recipient.[French]
La présente invention concerne un appareil qui comprend un ensemble de stimulation configuré pour être implanté sur ou à l'intérieur d'un receveur. L'ensemble de stimulation comprend un corps allongé ayant un axe longitudinal. L'ensemble de stimulation comprend en outre au moins une ailette s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale sensiblement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal et s'étendant à partir d'une surface externe du corps.
