Abstract[English]
Aspects and embodiments relate to apparatus and methods for uplink timing advance loop management. One aspect provides user equipment comprising: means for indicating, to another node, that a plurality of timing advance loops are supported; means for receiving, from the another node, a configuration for measuring received reference signals from the another node; means for performing measurements on the received reference signals according to the configuration; means for evaluating, based on the measurements, an indication of a predicted signal quality metric in relation to at least one of: the another node or a further node based upon conditional use of at least one timing advance loop; and means for transmitting information relating to the evaluated indication of a predicted signal quality metric in relation to the at least one of the another node or the further node. As a result of the method performed by the user equipment, information can be provided to other nodes in a network to facilitate more intelligent selection of use of one or more timing advance loop by the user equipment.[French]
Des aspects et des modes de réalisation concernent un appareil et des procédés de gestion de boucle d'avance temporelle de liaison montante. Un aspect de l'invention concerne un équipement utilisateur comprenant : des moyens pour indiquer, à un autre nœud, qu'une pluralité de boucles d'avance temporelle sont prises en charge; un moyen pour recevoir, en provenance de l'autre nœud, une configuration pour mesurer des signaux de référence reçus en provenance de l'autre nœud; des moyens pour effectuer des mesures sur les signaux de référence reçus selon la configuration; des moyens pour évaluer, sur la base des mesures, une indication d'un indicateur de qualité de signal prédit par rapport à au moins l'un parmi : l'autre nœud ou un nœud supplémentaire sur la base de l'utilisation conditionnelle d'au moins une boucle d'avance temporelle; et des moyens pour transmettre des informations relatives à l'indication évaluée d'un indicateur de qualité de signal prédit par rapport à l'autre nœud et/ou au nœud supplémentaire. En conséquence du procédé mis en œuvre par l'équipement utilisateur, des informations peuvent être fournies à d'autres nœuds dans un réseau pour faciliter une sélection plus intelligente d'utilisation d'une ou plusieurs boucles d'avance temporelle par l'équipement utilisateur.
