A mass spectrometer includes at least one ion optic for influencing the trajectory of at least one ion in an ionized sample. A casing includes a plurality of walls. Power supply components are disposed in the casing for supplying power to the at least one ion optic. An expansion component is within the casing. An encapsulant is disposed in the casing and encapsulates the power supply components. The encapsulant is in contact with the expansion component.[French]
La présente invention concerne un spectromètre de masse qui comprend au moins une optique ionique pour influencer la trajectoire d'au moins un ion dans un échantillon ionisé. Un boîtier comprend une pluralité de parois. Des composants d'alimentation électrique sont disposés dans le boîtier pour alimenter en énergie ladite au moins une optique ionique. Un composant d'expansion se trouve à l'intérieur du boîtier. Un agent d'encapsulation est disposé dans le boîtier et encapsule les composants d'alimentation électrique.
