Abstract[English]
A polyetherimide includes repeating units derived from a dianhydride selected from 4,4'- ((propane-2,2-diylbis(4,1-phenylene))bis(oxy))bis(isobenzofuran-1, 3-dione); or 4,4'-([1,1'- biphenyl]-4,4'-diylbis(oxy))bis(isobenzofuran-1, 3-dione); a first diamine including 9,9-bis(4- aminophenyl)fiuorene; and a second diamine including di aminodiphenyl ether, 4,4'- diaminodiphenyl sulfone, meta-phenylene diamine, or para-phenylene diamine. The polyetherimide can exhibit a desirable combination of properties. Methods of making the polyetherimide and polymer compositions and articles including the polyetherimide are also disclosed.[French]
