Abstract[English] Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to approximation or compression of channel state information (CSI). A device, such as a UE, obtains an information matrix that includes a set of information parameters, such as CSI values. The device decomposes the information matrix into at least two components using matrix direct product decomposition. Each of the at least two components includes a factor matrix that is smaller than the information matrix (e.g., has one or both of fewer rows or fewer columns than the information matrix). The factor matrices are encoded and transmitted to a receiving device that can decode the factor matrices and use the factor matrices to reconstruct an approximation of the information matrix.[French] Divers aspects de la présente invention concernent l'approximation ou la compression d'informations d'état de canal (CSI).
