Abstract[English]
A setting tool for setting a gauge hanger in a wellbore is disclosed The gauge hanger (12) is of a type comprising at least one gripper (56), a rotatable element (42), and means (50, 52, 54) for transferring rotation of the rotatable element into radial movement of the gripper. The setting tool (14) comprises a drive unit (22, 24), a drive shaft (28) arranged to connect to the rotatable element (42) in the gauge hanger, and a sleeve (30) arranged to engage with the gauge hanger (12) so as to isolate the rotatable element (42) from environmental pressure. This may help to avoid seals being squeezed against the drive shaft due to wellbore pressure, and thus help to reduce resistance to rotation encountered by the drive shaft.[French]
L'invention concerne un outil de pose pour poser un dispositif de suspension de jauge dans un puits de forage. Le dispositif de suspension de jauge (12) est d'un type comprenant au moins un dispositif de préhension (56), un élément rotatif (42), et des moyens (50, 52, 54) permettant de transférer la rotation de l'élément rotatif en un mouvement radial du dispositif de préhension. L'outil de pose (14) comprend une unité d'entraînement (22, 24), un arbre d'entraînement (28) conçu pour être relié à l'élément rotatif (42) dans le dispositif de suspension de jauge, et un manchon (30) conçu pour venir en prise avec le dispositif de suspension de jauge (12) de façon à isoler l'élément rotatif (42) de la pression environnementale.
