Abstract[English]
A collision warning device (1), comprises a camera (100) configured to capture a plurality of image frames covering a field of view (A); a depth sensor (200) configured to capture a plurality of depth data points at least partially covering the field of view (B); an object detection module (300) adapted to detect one or more rail vehicles in the field of view (A, B) and map the location of the detected rail vehicle to the depth data points to calculate an output depth at that location; and an output unit (400) configured to generate an output in response to the detection of a rail vehicle based on the output depth.[French]
