Abstract[English]
A system, method and associated apparatus for detecting damage in a load carrying container of a load carrying vehicle, such as truck tray of a truck, is described. Images of vehicles arc collected as they move around a worksite and images containing empty load carrying containers are identified. The images are then segmented into overlapping sub-images and a trained damage region object detection model is used to identify damage regions in the sub-images. The results may then be combined from multiple sub-images, including from images captured at multiple time points, and the damage may then be reported to allow maintenance to be performed.[French]
L'invention concerne un système, un procédé et un appareil associé pour détecter un endommagement dans un conteneur de transport de charge d'un véhicule de transport de charge, tel qu'un plateau d'un camion. Des images de véhicules sont collectées au fur et à mesure qu'ils se déplacent dans un chantier et des images comportant des conteneurs de transport de charge vides sont identifiées. Les images sont ensuite segmentées en sous-images se chevauchant et un modèle de détection d'objet de régions d'endommagement entraîné est utilisé pour identifier des régions d'endommagement dans les sous-images.
