Abstract[English]
The disclosure relates to a marking device for placing into a body of water to mark a specific position. The last known position marker described herein includes a rope sack with a float element disposed therein to help orient the rope sack in the water. The marker also includes a rope for connecting the rope sack and a weight element, which sinks into the water to position the marker. The marker also includes an inflatable float, which is sized and configured to extend upwardly out of the water to provide a vertical visual indicator of where the marker is located. In some versions of inflatable float, an illumination device is affixed to the distal end to further help visually indicate where the marker is located. The marker elements are configured to collapse into a carriable package and then be thrown into the water to deploy automatically to mark the position.[French]
La divulgation concerne un dispositif de marquage destiné à être placé dans une masse d'eau pour marquer une position spécifique.
