Abstract[English]
A commodity monitoring system includes a cable assembly in communication with at least one computing device. The cable assembly includes a plurality of cables, each cable including a pair of conductors and a plurality of sensor nodes secured to the plurality of cables. Each sensor node includes a circuit board disposed within the cable and interposed between the pair of conductors of the cable and at least one cap member ultrasonically welded to the cable and covering the circuit board. Methods of forming sensor nodes on cables include forming openings in cable jackets of the cables, disposing circuit boards within the cables and in-between two conductors of the cables such that a first lateral side of the circuit board faces a first conductor and a second lateral side of the circuit board faces a second conductor and ultrasonically welding at least one cap member over the opening in the cable.[French]
Un système de surveillance de marchandises comprend un ensemble de câbles en communication avec au moins un dispositif informatique. L'ensemble de câbles comprend une pluralité de câbles, chaque câble comprenant une paire de conducteurs et une pluralité de nœuds de capteur fixés à la pluralité de câbles.
