Abstract[English]
A thermoplastic composition includes particular amounts of a poly(phenylene ether), an impact modifier including a hydrogenated block copolymer of an alkenyl aromatic and a conjugated diene, an organophosphate ester flame retardant, a flame retardant synergist including a phosphazene, and optionally, tricalcium phosphate. The thermoplastic composition can be useful for the manufacture of various articles, particularly for thin wall applications.[French]
L'invention concerne une composition thermoplastique comprenant des quantités particulières d'un poly(phénylène-éther), d'un modificateur d'impact comprenant un copolymère séquencé hydrogéné d'un alcénylaromatique et d'un diène conjugué, d'un retardateur de flamme à base d'ester organophosphate, d'un synergiste ignifuge comprenant un phosphazène et, éventuellement, du phosphate tricalcique. La composition thermoplastique peut être utile pour la fabrication de divers articles, en particulier pour des applications à paroi mince.
