Abstract[English] The present invention relates to alternating-polarity focused multipolar stimulation (FMP) techniques for use with medical devices, such as implantable medical devices. Presented herein a method comprising: converting input signals into a plurality of alternating-polarity focused multipolar stimulation signals; and sequentially delivering the plurality of alternating-polarity focused multipolar stimulation signals to a recipient via a first stimulation channel.
