Abstract[English]
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to reducing energy consumption in wireless communication systems. For example, a network entity may perform operations to determine the states of UEs associated with the network entity, and reduce or modify DL transmissions to the UEs, such as those in RRC Idle states, based on responses received from the UEs. The UEs can assist the network entity by evaluating the geographic area associated with the network entity and providing information about the UEs in the area.[French]
