Connector, in particular for a vacuum application, comprising at least one connecting element, wherein the connecting element has a first end and an opposite second end, wherein a first end is connectable to a wire and the second end is built as terminal end; a first insulating element having a number of openings corresponding to the number of connecting elements; and a second insulating element having a number of openings corresponding to the number of connecting elements, wherein each connecting element extends through a respective opening of the first insulating element and the second insulating element; wherein the connecting element has a protruding feature having a diameter which is larger than diameter of the first end and the second end of the connecting element; wherein the openings of the first insulating element and the openings of the second insulating element have a diameter smaller than the diameter of the protruding feature; and wherein the protruding feature is located between the first insulating element and the second insulating element.[French]
