Abstract[English]
Presented herein are techniques for monitoring a state, amount, and/or concentration of a therapeutic substance in, for example, an implantable component of an implantable medical device. In particular, an implantable component can include at least one therapeutic substance portion having a therapeutic substance therein for delivery to a recipient. The techniques presented herein measure the impedance across the at least one therapeutic substance portion and use the measured impedance to estimate the state, amount and/or concentration of the therapeutic substance within the at least one therapeutic substance portion.[French]
L'invention concerne des techniques de surveillance d'un état, d'une quantité et/ou d'une concentration d'une substance thérapeutique dans, par exemple, un composant implantable d'un dispositif médical implantable. En particulier, un composant implantable peut comprendre au moins une partie à substance thérapeutique, à l'intérieur de laquelle se trouve une substance thérapeutique destinée à être administrée à un receveur. Les techniques présentées ici mesurent l'impédance à travers ladite au moins une partie à substance thérapeutique et utilisent l'impédance mesurée pour estimer l'état, la quantité et/ou la concentration de la substance thérapeutique à l'intérieur de ladite au moins une partie à substance thérapeutique.
