Abstract[English]
The disclosure provides for methods and compositions that target the interaction of αV/β1 integrin and monomeric MPO in ovarian cancer and other hyperproliferative disorders. Accordingly, aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for treating endometrial or ovarian hyperproliferative disorders in a subject, the method comprising administration of an inhibitor of αV/β1 integrin, an MPO inhibitor, and/or the combination of an αV/β1 integrin and an MPO inhibitor to the subject. In some aspects, the hyperproliferative disorder comprises ovarian cancer or epithelial ovarian cancer. In some aspects, the hyperproliferative disorder comprises endometriosis.[French]
