Abstract[English]
A planter or pot irrigation system is provided. The system comprises: a planter or pot (13) configured to receive a plant (15) with a root base (39) embedded in plant bedding material (14); a fluid tank arrangement (100) configured to contain irrigation fluid (8); at least one irrigation pipe (30) with a continuous wick (10); at least one irrigation stake (28) comprising a tipped end (19) configured to be embedded in the bedding material (14) in proximity to the root base (39). The at least one irrigation stake (28) is coupled to the fluid tank arrangement (100; 100'; 100") by the at least one irrigation pipe (30). The wick (10) is configured to originate from inside the fluid tank arrangement (100; 100'; 100") and to extend through the irrigation stake (28) to a fluid outlet location in proximity to the tipped end (19) of the irrigation stake. Fluid (8) inside the fluid tank arrangement (100; 100'; 100") is thereby configured to be conveyed by the wick through a fluid outlet (20) in the irrigation stake to the plant root base (39) by capillary action.[French]
