Automating conversion of drawings to indoor maps and plans. One example is a computer-implemented method comprising: preprocessing a CAD drawing to create a text database containing text from the CAD drawing and associations of the text with locations within the CAD drawing; determining a floor depicted in the CAD drawing, the determining results in a floor-level outline; identifying a plurality of room-level outlines within the floor-level outline, the plurality of room-level outlines corresponds to a respective plurality of rooms; selecting a name of a first room from the plurality of rooms, the selecting based on text within the text database; and creating an indoor map including the name of the first room, the name of the first room associated with a location of the first room within the floor-level outline.[French]
Automatisation de la conversion de dessins en cartes et plans intérieurs. Un exemple de l'invention concerne un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur consistant : à prétraiter un dessin de CAO afin de créer une base de données de texte contenant du texte à partir du dessin de CAO et des associations du texte avec des emplacements dans le dessin de CAO ; à déterminer un étage représenté dans le dessin de CAO, les résultats de détermination consistant en un contour de niveau d'étage ; à identifier une pluralité de contours de niveau de pièce dans le contour de niveau d'étage, la pluralité de contours de niveau de pièce correspondant à une pluralité respective de pièces ; à sélectionner un nom d'une première pièce parmi la pluralité de pièces, la sélection étant fondée sur un texte dans la base de données de texte ; et à créer une carte intérieure comprenant le nom de la première pièce, le nom de la première pièce étant associé à un emplacement de la première pièce à l'intérieur du contour de niveau d'étage.
