A method (900) performed by a computing apparatus for modifying a video. The method includes receiving a request to modify the video. The method also includes modifying the video based on the request to generate a modified video. Wherein modifying the video comprises removing one or more portions of the video from the video and/or adding content to the video. Removing one or more portions of the video from the video comprises: a) identifying a portion of the video having redundant content and removing from the video the identified redundant portion of the video, b) identifying a portion of the video having a low viewer retention and removing from the video the identified portion of the video having the low viewer retention, c) identifying a portion of the video having a low visual interest and removing from the video the identified portion of the video having the low visual interest, and/or d) identifying a portion of the video having a low emotional intensity and removing from the video the identified portion of the video having the low emotional intensity.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé (900) mis en œuvre par un appareil informatique pour modifier une vidéo. Le procédé consiste à recevoir une demande de modification de la vidéo. Le procédé consiste également à modifier la vidéo sur la base de la demande afin de générer une vidéo modifiée. La modification de la vidéo consiste à supprimer une ou plusieurs parties de la vidéo de la vidéo et/ou ajouter un contenu à la vidéo. La suppression d'une ou de plusieurs parties de la vidéo de la vidéo comprend : a) l'identification d'une partie de la vidéo présentant un contenu redondant et la suppression de la vidéo de la partie redondante identifiée de la vidéo, b) l'identification d'une partie de la vidéo présentant une faible rétention de spectateur et la suppression de la vidéo de la partie identifiée de la vidéo présentant la faible rétention de spectateur, c) l'identification d'une partie de la vidéo présentant un faible intérêt visuel et la suppression de la vidéo de la partie identifiée de la vidéo présentant l'intérêt visuel faible, et/ou d) l'identification d'une partie de la vidéo présentant une faible intensité émotionnelle et la suppression de la vidéo de la partie identifiée de la vidéo présentant l'intensité émotionnelle faible.
