Abstract[English] Techniques presented herein disambiguate Electrocochleography (ECochG) signal changes caused by either a moving electrode contact or an underlying shift in the change in the acoustic responsiveness of the cochlea by contemporaneously recording ECochG signals from at least two sites in the cochlea and tracking the position or movement of the stimulating assembly during surgery.
