Abstract[English] The present invention relates to a method for producing hydrogen from a subterranean dunite rock formation. The method comprises the steps of drilling a well into the subterranean dunite rock formation followed by obtaining hydrogen gas. The advantage of the present invention is that it utilizes a natural resource and does not require the use of expensive equipment or chemicals while being carbon neutral i.e. not releasing any carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.[French] La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'hydrogène à partir d'une formation rocheuse de dunite souterraine.
