Abstract[English]
A head restraint assembly is disclosed. The head restraint assembly includes a frame. A shaft is coupled to the frame and is rotatable relative to the frame. An arm is coupled to the frame and is rotatable relative to the frame. The arm is rotatable to a lowered position and a raised position. A pawl is coupled to the shaft and is rotatable with the shaft about the shaft axis to an engaged position in which rotation of the arm from the raised position to the lowered position is prevented. The pawl is rotatable with the shaft to a released position in which rotation of the arm from the raised position to the lowered position is permitted. An actuator having an electric motor and a drive plunger rotates the shaft to move the pawl to the released position.[French]
