Abstract[English]
A method for testing a wireless tag by a testing unit. The method comprises: transmitting, by a first antenna, a prescribed patten that is recognizable by a tag to put the tag into a testing mode; transmitting a trigger signal to a tag from a second antenna, the trigger signal being adapted to cause a tag to at least respond with a prescribed signal when the tag is good; waiting up to a prescribed amount of time after transmission of the trigger signal for a response to the trigger signal from a tag that is within range of the second antenna; when a valid response is received from the tag within the prescribed amount of time, designating the tag as having passed the test; and when a valid response is not received from the tag within the prescribed amount of time, designating the tag as having failed the test.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de test d'une étiquette sans fil par une unité de test. Le procédé consiste à : transmettre, à l'aide d'une première antenne, un motif prescrit qui est reconnaissable par une étiquette pour mettre l'étiquette dans un mode de test ; transmettre un signal de déclenchement à une étiquette à partir d'une seconde antenne, le signal de déclenchement étant conçu pour amener une étiquette à répondre au moins à un signal prescrit lorsque l'étiquette est bonne ; attendre jusqu'à une durée prescrite après la transmission du signal de déclenchement pour une réponse au signal de déclenchement provenant d'une étiquette qui se trouve dans la plage de la seconde antenne ; lorsqu'une réponse valide est reçue de l'étiquette dans la durée prescrite, désigner l'étiquette comme ayant réussi le test ; et lorsqu'une réponse valide n'est pas reçue de l'étiquette dans la durée prescrite, désigner l'étiquette comme ayant échoué au test.
