Abstract[English] A system and method for near field tracking, with an EMF sensor, of a local object which may be a manually manipulated object. Preferably, the local object is local to a magnetic field at a specific location, such as the hand and/or wrist of a user. The movement and/or relative location of the local object may be determined through tracking enabled by the magnetic field.
