Abstract[English]
A device and method for controlling augmented reality. The device may comprise a non-transitory computer memory and a processor. The processor is configured to: obtain an image of a physical object captured by an image capturer; identify, using a trained object recognition model, a plurality of key features of the physical object in the image and a respective position for each of the plurality of key features in the image; obtain a virtual spatial representation of the physical object captured by a depth sensor; project rays through the image onto the virtual spatial representation of the physical object such that the plurality of key features are projected onto the virtual spatial representation; and determine an orientation of the virtual spatial representation based on the projection of the plurality of key features onto the virtual spatial representation.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de commande de réalité augmentée. Le dispositif peut comprendre une mémoire d'ordinateur non transitoire et un processeur. Le processeur est configuré pour : obtenir une image d'un objet physique capturé par un dispositif de capture d'image ; identifier, à l'aide d'un modèle de reconnaissance d'objet entraîné, une pluralité de caractéristiques clés de l'objet physique dans l'image et une position respective pour chacune de la pluralité de caractéristiques clés dans l'image ; obtenir une représentation spatiale virtuelle de l'objet physique capturée par un capteur de profondeur ; projeter des rayons à travers l'image sur la représentation spatiale virtuelle de l'objet physique de telle sorte que la pluralité de caractéristiques clés sont projetées sur la représentation spatiale virtuelle ; et déterminer une orientation de la représentation spatiale virtuelle sur la base de la projection de la pluralité de caractéristiques clés sur la représentation spatiale virtuelle.
