Abstract[English] The present disclosure provides a vacuum pump assembly 2 comprising a vacuum pump 4, a water cooling system 10 for cooling the vacuum pump 4, a sensor arrangement 50 for detecting a water leak from the water cooling system 10, and a controller 20 in communication with the sensor arrangement 50. The controller 20 is configured to output a control signal in response to the sensor arrangement 50 detecting the water leak. The sensor arrangement allows for water from a leak to be detected sooner, and the control signal enables preventative action to be taken to prevent or minimise any damage from the water leak.[French] La présente divulgation concerne un ensemble pompe à vide (2) comprenant une pompe à vide (4), un système de refroidissement d'eau (10) pour refroidir la pompe à vide (4), un agencement de capteur (50) pour détecter une fuite d'eau à partir du système de refroidissement d'eau (10) et un dispositif de commande (20) en communication avec l'agencement de capteur (50).
