Abstract[English]
Thermoplastic compositions include: from about 40 wt% to about 89.9 wt% of at least one crystalline or semi-crystalline polymer; from about 10 wt% to about 20 wt% of at least one amorphous polymer; from about 0.1 wt% to about 20 wt% of a conductive carbon filler; and from 0 wt% to about 30 wt% of a reinforcing filler comprising glass fiber, glass flake, or a combination thereof. The thermoplastic composition has an absorption of at least 65%, a reflection of 35% or lower, and a transmission of 1% or lower, wherein absorption, reflection and transmission are tested in transmission mode in accordance with a Free Space Method at a frequency of from 75 gigahertz (GHz) to 110 GHz. The compositions are particularly suitable for use in radar absorbers for a radar or automobile sensor application.[French]
La présente invention concerne compositions thermoplastiques qui comprennent : d'environ 40 % en poids à environ 89,9 % en poids d'au moins un polymère cristallin ou semi-cristallin ; d'environ 10 % en poids à environ 20 % en poids d'au moins un polymère amorphe ; d'environ 0,1 % en poids à environ 20 % en poids d'une charge de carbone conductrice ; et de 0 % en poids à environ 30 % en poids d'une charge de renforcement comprenant une fibre de verre, un flocon de verre ou une combinaison de ceux-ci.
