Abstract[English]
A dissolvable medical device for placing on the outer exposed surface of the eye to heal the corneal wound comprising of: a polymeric film has sufficient dimensions to substantially cover a cornea when applied to an eye, wherein the polymeric film comprising one or more mucoadhesive polymers, wherein the polymeric film dissolves between 15 minutes to 120 minutes to release the mucoadhesive polymers, wherein the dissolved polymeric film is not impeding visualization of ocular tissue while maintaining a protective film on outer surface of the eye.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif médical soluble destiné à être placé sur la surface exposée externe de l’œil afin de guérir la plaie cornéenne comprenant : un film polymère présente des dimensions suffisantes pour recouvrir sensiblement une cornée lorsqu'il est appliqué à un œil, le film polymère comprenant un ou plusieurs polymères mucoadhésifs, le film polymère se dissolvant entre 15 minutes et 120 minutes pour libérer les polymères mucoadhésifs, le film polymère dissous n'empêchant pas la visualisation du tissu oculaire, tout en maintenant un film protecteur sur la surface externe de l’œil.
